Community Workshop #3

Thank you to all who participated in our third Community Workshop held Tuesday December 5th, 2017 at the Woodlake Church.  Photos of the workshop can be found on the website’s photo gallery here, and detailed summary of the workshop can be found here.  Over 50 community members participated, providing their input on different land use alternatives in three focus areas.  If you missed the workshop you can still give your input. 

If you would like to provide your input on future land uses click here.  This link will take you to the ‘Bixby Future Land Use Exercise’ map.  Follow the instructions to provide input.   This link will be available beginning January 29, 2018 through February 11th 2018.

Community Workshop #2

Community Kiosks

Thank you to all who provided their input at one of the four Community Kiosks that were set up at various locations throughout the City of Bixby on Wednesday, September 20th. The four Community Kiosks were held at the following locations:

Apple Barrel Café
15225 S Memorial Dr.
Bixby, OK 74008
Bixby Public Library
20 E Breckenridge Ave.
Bixby, OK 74008
Stepping Stone Café
4 N Armstrong St.
Bixby, OK 74008
Doc’s Country Mart
15028 S Memorial Dr.
Bixby, OK 74008

At each of these four locations, willing participants provided their input on Bixby’s future, and what issues they would like addressed in the City’s Comprehensive Plan Update. Participants had the opportunity to write their thoughts down on paper, and identified geographical issues or opportunities on a map.

If you did not have the opportunity to provide your input at one of the four Community Kiosks, feel free to leave a comment using the green tab on the left hand side of the project website . Results of the input participants provided at each Kiosk can be found in the Online Library .

First Public Workshop Held

The City of Bixby held the first public workshop for the Bixby Comprehensive Plan Update on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 6 PM in the City Council Chambers. There were over 60 attendees who learned about the Comprehensive Plan process and provided valuable input on the issues and opportunities important to address in the Comprehensive Plan Update.
